A wasted bit of space next to the farmyard was transformed into a relaxing and beautiful area to put your feet up after a hard day’s work.
The area was totally cleared out and built up to give a raised platform on which to build a large patio on two levels using Indian sandstone slabs. The retaining walls were faced with limestone walling and the steps were made using large Yorkstone slabs.
Another area was planted with shrubs and a cherry tree to add interest. It was finished off with fencing to the boundary, of different heights to make the most of the surrounding countryside.
